This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered when purchasing products from Clay in the Shed – Hunter Valley Pottery.
1. Order Processing
All orders are processed within a reasonable timeframe after purchase. Processing times may vary depending on the type of product ordered and current studio workload.
You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been received and another notification once your order has been dispatched.
2. Shipping (Future Product Sales)
At this time, Clay in the Shed may offer handmade ceramic products for sale online in the future. When available, shipping options, costs, and delivery timeframes will be clearly displayed at checkout.
Shipping may include delivery via Australia Post or other trusted courier services, depending on the size and nature of the item.
3. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times will vary depending on your location within Australia. Once dispatched, delivery times are managed by the shipping provider and may be subject to delays outside our control.
4. Fragile Items
Many of our products are handmade ceramics. While all items are carefully packaged to reduce risk of damage, ceramics are inherently fragile. We take great care in packaging, but cannot guarantee against damage during transit once the item has left our studio.
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos so we can assess the issue.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
6. Local Pickup
Where available, customers may be offered local pickup from our studio location in the Hunter Valley. Pickup details will be provided at the time of purchase.
7. Returns for Shipping Issues
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within a reasonable timeframe so we can work with you to resolve the issue.
